• 800 g turnip greens leaves (16 cubes)
  • 300 g firm ripe tomatoes
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 150 g cubed bacon
  • a handful of breadcrumbs
  • ½ chilli pepper
  • oil, salt and pepper

How to prepare

Blanche the tomatoes for a few minutes in boiling salted water, remove the skins and seeds, then chop into small pieces.

Boil the cubed turnip greens, drain and squeeze well.

Sauté the chilli pepper, breadcrumbs and crushed garlic in the oil.

Add the bacon cubes and after a few minutes, the chopped (and previously blanched) tomatoes and cook over a high heat for 5 minutes.

Add the chopped parsley, salt and pepper, and the blanched turnip greens and gently fry for a few minutes.
